Just a few stories from a weekly column I wrote many years ago for our local paper.
Our friends at the Carlinville Writer’s Guild Discussion Group offered a writing challenge I thought would be fun to try. Michelle posted this photo and said, “There was a house here on this corner, in Gillespie, when I was growing up. I never knew the family, but that doesn’t matter because you’re going to tell their story. I can’t wait to hear it.“
